Tibetan culture has at its heart the development and preservation of compassion and wisdom. Through education Tibetan culture can flourish and be upheld, while without it we risk its degeneration. Our foremost priority is the wellbeing and education of Tibetans, especially children. We would like to help children develop into professionals that can subsequently benefit the Tibetan community at large. On that basis we also aim to care for those in need such as Tibetan elders that need help with their living and medical situation. The Tashi Pendey Foundation is following in the footsteps of our late president, Venerable Dhondup Gyaltsen, who started the foundation because he could not stand to see others suffer and was literally willing to do anything he could to help.
