Our Story

Venerable Dhondup Gyaltsen had a simple dream: to help others. He was happiest when he was able to do something that would make others happy and he had a very soft heart. Upon seeing young and old Tibetans struggle in India he decided to do something to help. He wanted to give them an education and ease their living situation. Whenever anyone needed something he would spring into action without any hesitation. As a result of all this Venerable Dhondup Gyaltsen established the Tashi Pendey Foundation in 2005 and with the utmost kindness and support of sponsors Tashi Pendey has been able to help countless families, elders and their children to this day.
